The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Songs of the Past is a new expansion for The Witcher 3 from developers CD PROJEKT RED, Fool's Theory and Yigsoft, published by CD PROJEKT RED; its release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. It’s billed as a standalone-sized addition that sends Geralt back onto the Path with a fresh region, new quests and characters, and the same choice-and-consequence storytelling the series is known for. Notable for expanding the world and narrative stakes rather than overhauling systems, it’s been announced for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, promising more of the game’s signature action-RPG combat, monster contracts and branching dialogue.
