Total War: THREE KINGDOMS, released May 23, 2019, is Creative Assembly’s sweeping strategy epic that drops you into the fractured politics and brutal battlefields of late Han China; it’s available on PC, macOS, and Linux, with Creative Assembly developing and SEGA publishing (Feral Interactive handled the macOS and Linux ports). The game mixes turn-based empire management and diplomacy with real-time tactical battles, leaning on its Guanxi System to turn relationships and reputation into a core strategic tool, and it’s notable for large-scale engagements featuring hundreds of unique infantry, cavalry and siege units and a focus on character-driven campaigns rather than anonymous blobs of troops.
