Is CrackWatch back?

Short version: the original CrackWatch site stopped being updated years ago, but the community never really went away. People kept checking r/CrackWatch on Reddit and a handful of forums to find out whether a PC game had been cracked, which DRM it was using and how long Denuvo was holding up. So when someone asks "is CrackWatch back?", the honest answer is: the website you remember is gone, but the habit of tracking crack status is very much alive.

The CrackWatch idea is back — just in a cleaner and more modern format, with per-game pages, DRM labels, scene group profiles and daily status updates instead of a single scrolling list.

Over time, the name CrackWatch became almost a generic term. For a lot of players it just means "the place where you check if a game is cracked yet". That habit outlived the original site by a wide margin and got mixed up with the subreddit, copycat trackers and a few short-lived clones.

Meanwhile the actual scene kept moving. Denuvo got more aggressive, Hypervisor and other anti-tamper layers appeared, scene groups came and went, and the time between a release and its crack changed shape completely. The old static list was never going to keep up with that — which is why a more structured tracker makes more sense today.
