With the PC launch of Fatekeeper drawing attention, one question keeps coming up around the new release: will it ship with Denuvo? Here’s where things stand right now for Fatekeeper on PC.
Based on the current information visible from the official PC sources checked, there is no Denuvo notice for Fatekeeper at this time. The store page does not display an “Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-Tamper” line, and the app’s backend entry does not show a 3rd-Party DRM flag for Denuvo either. As always, this can change at any point before or after release, but the checked Steam sources do not currently show a Denuvo listing.
Why does this matter? For some players, Denuvo and other DRM protections raise practical concerns. Performance is the most talked-about topic, though the impact varies game to game and is not guaranteed. There’s also the question of offline access if authentication is required, as well as long-term ownership and preservation once servers or entitlements change years down the line. Others simply like to track which games use which protections as part of their buying decisions.
