Does Solarpunk Have Denuvo on PC? What We Know So Far
// Solarpunk is close to its PC launch, and its current DRM status is one detail survival and co-op players may want to check early.
Solarpunk is arriving on PC as a very different kind of survival game. Instead of raids, PvP pressure, harsh base defense, or the usual post-apocalyptic dirt-and-rust look, Cyberwave is building a calmer world of floating islands, solar energy, wind power, farming, automation, airships, and co-op building. That softer pitch makes the PC release interesting, especially because cozy survival games often live for years through replay, multiplayer sessions, and slow community growth.
Current Denuvo status
Right now, Solarpunk does not currently show a Denuvo Anti-Tamper listing on PC. The current public PC release information does not show a Denuvo notice, a third-party DRM warning naming Denuvo, or an Anti-Tamper entry tied to the game.
That does not mean Solarpunk should be described as permanently Denuvo-free. DRM information can change before release, and publishers sometimes update release data late in the pre-launch window. The safer answer is simpler: Denuvo is not currently listed for Solarpunk on PC.
Why the DRM question still matters
For a game like Solarpunk, the DRM question has a slightly different tone than it does for a giant blockbuster. This is a relaxed survival craft sandbox built around solo play, small-group co-op, building, farming, and decorating. If it finds the right audience, it could become the kind of game people return to quietly over time rather than finish once and uninstall.
That is why PC DRM protections still matter here. Players are not only thinking about launch-day performance. They are also thinking about offline access, family setups, long-term ownership, preservation, and whether a small survival game will remain easy to revisit years later.
A calmer launch, for now
Solarpunk already has enough practical questions around it: how deep the crafting loop feels, how much content is available at launch, how stable co-op is, and whether the relaxed structure can hold players beyond the first few islands. A Denuvo label would add another layer to that discussion, but for now, that label is not present in the current PC release information.
The wider DRM debate is still active, especially after recent attention around Denuvo removals, cracks, and hypervisor-based bypasses. Solarpunk, though, currently sits on the quieter side of that conversation.
For now, the cleanest status is this: Solarpunk does not currently list Denuvo on PC. If that changes before release, the story changes with it.
