The Reddit account associated with voices38 disappeared on October 20, 2026, only days after a U.S. federal court allowed Denuvo to move forward with subpoenas aimed at identifying the anonymous cracker.

The timing immediately raised questions about whether the legal pressure is finally beginning to affect Denuvo cracking.

Denuvo Can Now Request Account Information

Denuvo sued voices38 in September, accusing the cracker of circumventing its Anti-Tamper protection across at least 26 PC games.

Because the company does not know the real identity behind the alias, it asked the court for permission to obtain information from platforms where voices38 maintained accounts.

On October 16, the court approved a narrowed version of those requests, allowing Denuvo to seek identifying and contact information from Reddit, Discord and Valve.

Four days later, the u/voices38 Reddit account was no longer available.

It has not been confirmed whether voices38 personally deleted the account or Reddit removed it.

voices38 May Already Have A New Alias

Shortly afterward, communities noticed activity under the name “v0ices38”, replacing the letter “o” with a zero.

Reports indicate that the existing CS.RIN profile associated with voices38 was renamed rather than replaced entirely, suggesting that the person behind the account may simply be reducing their public presence.

Deleting or renaming an account would not necessarily erase information already stored by Reddit, Discord or Valve.

    DenuvOwO Is Already Gone

voices38 is not the only major name affected by the recent pressure.

DenuvOwO, the group behind many of the Hypervisor-based Denuvo bypasses released during 2026, reportedly disbanded after the voices38 lawsuit became public.

That means two of the most important names behind the recent wave of Denuvo bypasses and cracks have now either disappeared or significantly reduced their public presence.

At the same time, the Entertainment Software Association has asked the U.S. government to classify voices38 as a notable piracy threat, arguing that his cracks feed repackers, torrent sites and other piracy platforms.

Does this mean the end of Denuvo cracks?

    Not yet.

voices38 has not announced retirement, and a deleted Reddit profile does not prove the cracking activity has stopped. But after DenuvOwO’s disappearance and the increasing legal pressure around voices38, the Denuvo scene suddenly looks much less predictable than it did only a few months ago.
