Kernel Hearts, arriving on September 17, 2026, is a multiplayer co-op roguelike action RPG from developer Ephemera Games and publisher Whitethorn Games, and it’s been announced for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. You play as one of four magical girls tasked with gathering allies, transforming into powerful forms, and systematically hunting down titanic Angel enemies in a world choking on ash; the loop mixes fast, action-oriented combat with roguelike progression and cooperative synergy. What sticks is that brutal high-concept hook — “slay god” isn’t hyperbole here — and the promise of tense, repeatable runs that reward teamwork and build variety.
