STRANGER THAN HEAVEN

STRANGER THAN HEAVEN is an ambitious, 50-year action-adventure saga from RGG Studio published by SEGA, due on January 14, 2027, and confirmed for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. You play as itinerant men across five cities and eras of modern Japan, balancing brutal, up-close violence to survive with developing musical showmanship to thrive — it mixes melee combat and rhythm-show mechanics with RPG progression. The scope is what'll stick with you: a generational story, shifting locales and systems, and RGG’s usual attention to character-driven beats and arcade-style combat, all aiming for a gritty, theatrical take on modern Japanese life.
