Paralives has carried the weight of massive community expectations ever since it surfaced as a viable indie challenger to the long-standing hegemony of The Sims. Developed by Alex Massé and the small team at Paralives Studio, this ambitious life simulator is slated to enter Early Access on PC via Steam in 2026. The project distinguishes itself through highly flexible building tools and an intricate character creator that allows for height adjustments and organic proportions. Set in a cozy open world, players manage the daily routines of autonomous Parafolks, navigating complex social relationships and career hurdles without the rigid grid constraints typical of the genre.
