Dell has rolled out the new Alienware 15, a thinner 15.3-inch gaming laptop that goes on sale starting May 15, 2026, with configurations topping out at Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 50-series. It’s a notable pivot for Alienware: a lighter, less bulky design that still aims at mainstream gaming performance.
What’s new and where it lands
The Alienware 15 uses a 15.3-inch 16:10 display at 1920×1200, paired with CPU options from either camp: AMD’s Ryzen 200 family or Intel’s latest Core Series 2 mobile chips. GPU choices scale from GeForce RTX 3050 and 4050 up to RTX 5050 and RTX 5060, with regional availability varying by configuration. In Japan, sales begin May 15; other regions are rolling out through Dell’s storefronts.
Specs in brief
According to the launch breakdown, the chassis is considerably more portable at up to 22.95 mm thick and about 2.25 kg. CPU options include Ryzen 7 260 or Ryzen 5 220 on the AMD side, and Core 7 240H or Core 5 210H on the Intel side. On the graphics front, Nvidia’s Laptop GPUs span from entry 30/40-series parts to the newer RTX 5050 and 5060 tiers for higher refresh 1080p-class play. Dell also lists a 165 Hz FHD+ panel option on the product page, matching the performance-oriented pitch for esports staples.
