Minecraft Dungeons II is set to release on September 29, 2026, bringing its action-packed, blocky escapades to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Developed by Mojang Studios and Double Eleven, and published by Xbox Game Studios, this sequel ditches the construction for combat, throwing players into a kaleidoscope of hack-and-slash adventures. It's more than just a palette swap; new biomes and enemy types keep the formula fresh, while RPG elements like character customization and loot add depth. Fans of the original's dungeon-delving will find themselves right at home, hacking through creepers and skeletons with a sword instead of a pickaxe.
